Our Pathologists are involved in research projects covering a broad range of topics, related to furthering our understanding of disease and improving our diagnostic capabilities. These include scientific collaborations with the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine, the Cancer Research Center of Hawaiʻi, as well as international universities. HPL’s immunohistochemistry and molecular diagnostics laboratories are fully equipped to perform a wide array of tests, including for investigational purposes.
